Visiting Leicester

Leicester is a unique city located in the centre of England and is a wonderful place to visit, with a superb range of visitor attractions. Abbey Park is a great location if you enjoy taking walks or having boat rides, Bradgate Park is where you can enjoy nature taking forest walks amongst deers next to the river, there is the King Richard 3rd visitor center as well as the New Walk Museum if you enjoy history as well as the National Space Centre for those interested in space travel and astronomy.

Overall Leicester combines the finest English traditions with multicultural activities and the cosmopolitan buzz of city life. It is also within reach of many other cities and attractions throughout central England.

According to Tripadvisor, the best time to visit UK is in Summer if you are looking for good weather on a long summer day, and we quote:

"Summer (early June to mid September) - For the most part, Summer should be warm, quite dry and the best time to visit the UK if you are after reliable weather and an outdoor holiday. Temperatures stay above 15C by day (usually dipping no lower than 10C by night) over the entire UK and can exceed 35C in a heatwave."

June has the longest days of the year, lasting up to 16 hours. December on the other hand has the shortest day of only 8 hours.
